I have worked at this facility for 20 yrs as a nurse. I take great pride in my job and the people I care for. I have some of the best coworkers, bosses and DR/NP that a person could ever ask to work with. Maple Leaf is great faculty. Its been a tough year with Covid but we have came through it. We are very diligent to end this Covid so life can can back to some normality. God Bless you all.

We were very satisfied with the care that my family member received at Maple Leaf. The staff was always kind and professional. Everyone treated us like family. They went out of their way to help make the stay comfortable for proper healing. Thank you Maple Leaf!

First, this review of Maple Leaf is at the first of December 2020 — going into month 9 of the still-horrific and chaotic Covid 19 pandemic that has taken such a staggering toll on patients and healthcare workers at such facilities around the nation. I truly don’t know how administrator Jennifer and team have navigated us all through this horrific year with such constant (at times, near-miraculous) dedication, commitment to patient well being and best practices. For my 92-year-old Mom, early March brought not only the start of Covid 19 but the end of independent living when she fell and fractured her hip and femur, requiring surgery and rehab just as facilities were required to lockdown from visitation. By her early July admission to Maple Leaf, she’d endured 4 re-hospitalizations, 1 awful assisted living, and 2 other (very new & shiny rehab/SNF facilities.) She was too weak to sit up in bed or feed herself and had skin lesions plus extreme (new) cognitive impairment. Today, she’s a different, energetic patient thanks to care by the amazing speech, physical and occupation therapists... nursing staff from RNs to CNAs... activities... greeting her by name. She zips around in her wheelchair, masked as appropriate, eats on her own and shares her candy supply with staff, uses her walker a bit with PT and OT, and despite some confusion she is also her gregarious — sometimes cranky — self. She also likes the food, btw. Although a maintained and attractively warm physical facility, Maple Leaf is not new with the most current shared-suite layouts and such lures. But Maple Leaf’s level of personal attention, obvious professional commitment to excellence and compassionate care is something that has been, and must be, developed carefully — and it can’t be faked with shiny cosmetic stuff. We are grateful.

To Jennifer and all the Mapple leaf staff thank you for taking care of my grandma Karen C. During the last year of her life. To any person deciding whether or not to use their services, they treated her like family day 1 till the end with love and top professional care. I dont believe anyone else could made her more at ease. She was happy ,she was home and for that I thank them. Rather it be your mom dad or grandparents the staff (which I seen alot of) they will be in good hands.

Extremely pleased with Maple Leaf. This was our second nursing home so we had something to compare it to. We showed up unannounced for a tour to see what an average day was really like. We were greeted with a smile and taken on a tour of the facility. The place was quite impressive and we “booked” a room for my dad who would be released from the hospital the following day. The morning of discharge, we had an issue with his medication at the hospital and called Maple Leaf. Patty, the Unit Nurse, resolved the problem for us. The administration was competent and helpful. The nursing staff and the CNAs were caring and capable. The speech therapist was outstanding, visiting my dad every day. The physical therapists worked diligently to help him build up his muscles. The doctor and the P.A. were attentive, coming by every week, examining him and keeping us informed. The cleaning staff kept the facility and his room/bed/bathroom clean. The meals were good and the CNA assisted him when needed. There is a full kitchen for family members to use (and clean up after yourselves). As I stated this was his second skilled nursing home and Maple Leaf was a far better experience due to its exceptionally high standards. I highly recommend this facility.
