The best medicine is love. What if it doesn't work? You increase the dose! Nursing takes us to all kinds of places. As a former employee- I find immense joy in writing this review I have worked in the most beautiful buildings - but that's all it was a beautiful building. This place is an old building with the most beautiful souls The nursing team is absolutely amazing. Mel, Michael, and Vi - touch more hearts than anyone will ever know. Nurses I have seen go above and beyond - a true reflection of Jesus. The Physical Therapy team is the best. The hours, love, and dedication they show towards the residence is breathtaking. Especially Antoinette- she took the time to show me how to care for each one of my residence. The CNA are amazing. Shina touched my heart- watching the light in her eyes and love gave to each resident Mimi not only helped physical therapy- but her love, music, and laughter lights up every soul! Michael Champion the Director of Nursing - to watch the tears and passion as he talks about the care he expects of his residence - you can't find that! Faith, Hope, and Love. The greatest of these is Love. I found that here- so will you!!

My grandmother was moved in here a couple of months after she had a stroke, and she has been there for about 6 months now. When she first moved into this facility, she was not speaking or moving her right arm at all due to her stroke (doctors told her she would not be able to move her right arm again). As of today, she is speaking in full sentences, and is moving all of her limbs freely, including her right arm. It is all due to the amazing staff that this facility has. She loves all of her nurses and therapists, and they treat her with enormous amounts of respect. She has to move due to insurance reasons, and we are extremely upset because we have fallen so in love with this facility. They have made such amazing physical and mental progress with my grandmother, and my entire family and myself are eternally grateful for the amazing staff at The Park in Plano. Thank y’all so much for how much y’all have helped my grandmother.

I have nothing but respect for this place. This place is clean and in good condition. My mother is there and I’m there every weekend. All nursing staff is very professional and courteous. I’m always greeted with a smile and the most important part is that my mother is happy

The Park in Plano is an older Building that the management and administrator are working on updating. My husbands grandmother lived there the last 3 years of her life and I now have my Mom there. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to my mom and myself. Many have worked there for years. It is a small building so everyone knows all the residents on a very personal level. Some of the residents have been there for many years. If your looking for the newest and nicest place in Plano then The Park isn't for you. But if you want to place your loved one in a small family oriented atmosphere then I recommend the The Park. I have worked in Long term care for many years and all of the negative comments others have posted happen in the larger and nicer facilities as well. Pretty and fancy doesn't always equal good care.
